Lumps on puppies tail which there is hair loss on those spots only?

A puppy I rescued has lumps on her tail and hair loss is only on those spots. I have treated for ringworm, thinking it may be that, and it isn’t. You can easily feel the ‘lumps’ on her tail and you can see them from a close distance. Anyone have any clue as to what they may be?

  1. TK says:

ummm, maybe tick heads broken off under the skin, or a reaction to a bug bite or irritating vegetation, or cysts, or bone fragments from physical trauma, or a bunch of other possibilities. Why not have her examined by your veterinarian? That should be done even if she isn’t lumpy.
